From mentoring peers to representing student voices, each role reflects a commitment to building community and making a positive impact.

College of Business Ambassador
It is an honor to represent the College of Business as an ambassador, supporting recruitment, outreach, and community engagement. This role provides unique opportunities, such as meeting the mayor for collaborative business discussions and engaging with the College’s External Advisory Board. Through these experiences, valuable insights are gained into the lives and careers of local CEOs and business leaders. Serving as an ambassador reflects a deep commitment to leadership, professionalism, and promoting the mission of the College of Business.

High School Professional Development Workshop
​A professional development workshop was led for high school interns from the Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering (ASCTE) as part of the SAIC intern program. The session focused on teaching students how to effectively use LinkedIn and build their personal brands. Topics included creating strong profiles, developing networking strategies, and showcasing skills and experiences. The workshop supported career readiness and encouraged confident professional growth among participants.

VP of Programs - Delta Zeta Sorority
​Leadership within Delta Zeta has been shaped by a deep commitment to building connection and purpose. As Vice President of Programs, responsibilities included coordinating chapter events that foster personal growth, sisterhood, and community service. A team of 15 chairwomen was managed while working closely with the executive board to bring a shared vision to life. This role offered the opportunity to create meaningful experiences for 70+ members, nurturing a space where individuals could connect, grow, and contribute to something larger than themselves.

Philanthropy and Marketing - Alpha Kappa Psi
​As a founding member of Alpha Kappa Psi, efforts helped lay the foundation for the fraternity’s identity and impact on campus. Digital marketing strategies were developed to promote professional development events and build a strong online presence. Philanthropic initiatives were also led, including the organization of drives to provide hygienic products to students in need. This role combined creativity, service, and leadership to strengthen the fraternity’s mission and deepen its connection to the campus community.

Honors Peer Mentor
Volunteered as an Honors Mentor, guiding a group of incoming freshmen as they transitioned into university life. Responsibilities included offering academic and social support, sharing resources, and helping mentees navigate the challenges of college life. Through regular meetings and personalized guidance, the role fostered a sense of community and belonging for new students, helping them develop the confidence and skills needed to succeed in their academic and personal journeys. This position strengthened leadership abilities and reinforced a commitment to supporting others in their growth and success.

Women in Business in Leadership
As an active member of the Women in Business and Leadership Club, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic group of peers dedicated to empowering women in professional spaces. Through workshops, speaker events, and mentorship opportunities, I’ve grown both personally and professionally—building leadership skills, expanding my network, and gaining insights into navigating careers in business and tech as a woman. My involvement reflects a commitment to fostering inclusive, purpose-driven environments and championing diversity in leadership.
